About

In exploring the confluence of occupational therapy, wild therapy and reiki I am bringing an integrated way of being.

Through my own life both personally and professionally I have arrived at a place in which what I choose to practise is presence.

By practising being aware in the heart of the moment and noticing when we may have become lost in what is arising both internally or externally.

By focusing on being attuned to myself, to others and the natural world, a space is created when we are truly able to be with what arrives in the moment.

Whether you are with an internal or external sense of stormy weather, or a stillness after a storm, when things seem different but not yet settled, a still point within this may allow sight of what is present.

My own poetry and artwork, featured on the website speaks to a sense of contact with this space, and what naturally flows creatively and in expression.

I bring my experience as an occupational therapist across both mental and physical health settings, with adults, children and families. Having always held meaningful activity and person centered care as the bedrock of therapy.

We can explore the nature of your ‘doing’ life, the things you want and need to do, and what supports your life force and what hinders it.

I am a therapist using both myself, my presence and expression and anything that really holds your heart, such as an activity or means of expression.

This could be using creative resources, or natural items. This may be in activity or creatively, I am open to forming a way of working that inspires you.

I also bring my experience completing the wild therapy one year training. Bringing contact to the wild, as witness and co therapist. Exploring what is both alive within us an around us, as a guide for what may be seeking to be unearthed. wildtherapy.uk

Letting the wild weave its way through us, holding us and allowing it to surface what is intended. As the wild beings we already are. We may notice and observe what we meet in the natural world and how this may be guiding us to deeper reflection internally.

Being attuned to the energy of reiki, universal life force, allows capacity to notice what flows and what may be blocked. Moments that may be supported by connecting to the flow of reiki and offering this in an appropriate way can also be considered. This approach also allows reflection as to what resources us and what drains us, and exploring sustainability and balance.

Working in an awareness of the life force flowing underneath all life, and opening to it’s healing, our healing.

If this sounds of interest, contact me to discuss and see how this may work for you.
